Pride Centre

The Victorian Government is proud to have provided more than $25 million in funding for Victoria’s first Pride Centre located on Fitzroy Street, St Kilda.

About the Victorian Pride Centre

The centre officially opened in July 2021 and is the first of its kind in Australia. It celebrates Victoria’s diverse LGBTIQA+ communities, honours their past, and supports LGBTIQA+ organisations and groups to continue working towards equality.

The Victorian Pride Centre is a community hub: a secure home for a range of major Victorian LGBTIQA+ organisations, with purpose-built spaces that encourages collaboration.

It also features a health service and community spaces that can be used by smaller groups, including meeting rooms, a café and bar, a theatrette and gallery. The Pride Centre has been developed by and for LGBTIQA+ communities through the independent, not-for-profit Victorian Pride Centre Limited.
