You can call the Emergency Recovery Hotline every day on 1800 560 760(opens in a new window) from 9 am to 5 pm. Press 9 for an interpreter or call Translating and Interpretation Service (TIS) on 131 450.

Recovery programs and support

After a major storm, bushfire or flood – you may be eligible for programs and support to help you in your recovery. Not all emergencies listed below will have active recovery programs, but general services remain available for assistance and advice.
