What to do if your training provider closes

Where to get help if your training provider closes part-way through your course.

Occasionally a training provider closes when students are part-way through studying a course with them. If this happens to you, follow the advice below.

What your training provider should do

Your training provider has a responsibility to:

  • find you another training provider if you are enrolled and want to continue your training
  • give you a statement of attainment for completed units of competency
  • give you a transcript of results for a completed qualification
  • return any unmarked assessments to you.

Find out more on the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) provider closures(opens in a new window) page.
