A: Clarification of the industry/ sectors targeted for the Precinct – as outlined in the Opportunity Statement - advanced manufacturing, agricultural technology, advanced food production, renewable energy, green transport and aerospace

Q: What is the plan for the open space as indicated on the map?

A: Open space – how much and the different types explained, areas indicated on the map include drainage, passive/ active open space definitions clarified. Noting engagement underway with Council.

CSIRO East Werribee Facility

Overview of the Food Innovation Centre, CSIRO projects and the work coming out of the facility

Comments on the synergy with food technology and tertiary institutions already in Werribee and the state research farm legacy

Discussion about the start-ups that come out of the CSIRO and how the CSIRO supports and encourages these opportunities, CSIRO is the R and D arm for start-ups and industry partners

Site School site enabling works overview.

Q: How many local companies working on the project

A: Multiple school sites across Victoria, bulk tender application, so various partners.

Use https://www.tenders.vic.gov.au for local businesses to participate. This is the central place for all suppliers to register interest in supplying to Victorian Government.

Q: What is the land surrounding the school for?

A: Discussion around why P-9 and not p-12. Land set aside for future 10-12 School; Areas around school includes open space, drainage and residential.
