VSA’s Industry Engagement Framework strengthens planning for Victoria’s skills system needs

The Victorian Skills Authority’s (VSA’s) Industry Engagement Framework(opens in a new window) sets out how we proactively work with industry across Victoria to understand their unique perspectives and priorities, and to find solutions for skill needs that are innovative, responsive and world-leading.

The framework ensures Victoria’s skills system is well-informed by employers and industry, underpinned by high-quality data and evidence. By drawing on the expertise of businesses, unions, employer peak bodies and associations across metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, we aim to achieve the best skilling outcomes for all Victorians.

While the VSA considers the perspectives of learners, educators, government, and community stakeholders, our framework places a strong focus on industry collaboration. Industry partners bring direct knowledge of workforce needs, offering valuable insights into both opportunities and challenge that are integral to shaping our Victorian vocational training and education system.
