Women Deliver 2023

The Victorian Government, in partnership with the Commonwealth Government, is the Pacific Regional Convening Partner for Women Deliver 2023.

One of the largest gender equality conferences in the world, Women Deliver 2023 ran from 17-20 July in Kigali, Rwanda.

We all have a role in advancing the rights, health and wellbeing of women and girls everywhere.

The Global Dialogue

The six months before the conference is known as the Global Dialogue.

During the Global Dialogue, advocates from around the world will come together to discuss and exchange knowledge about girls’ and women’s rights issues. These events may be in-person, online or hybrid.

Together with the Regional Committee, we will be working with advocates and stakeholders across our region to:

  • showcase work and solutions
  • enable regional knowledge sharing
  • build solidarity across diverse stakeholders to advance gender equality.

The Pacific and Melbourne convening events provide an opportunity for regional gender equality priorities to be identified, and to build momentum towards and prepare to represent those priorities on the global stage in Rwanda.
