Citizenship ceremonies are an important part of Australia Day events.

The Australian Citizenship Ceremonies Code provides guidance to help plan and conduct local councils' citizenship ceremonies. It outlines your legal requirements and provides information on your responsibilities for before, during and after the ceremony.
