Accredited vocational education and training (VET) courses that the department has developed.

This page lists accredited vocational education and training (VET) courses that have been developed by the department.

The courses have been developed to support Victorian industry and community needs where there are no existing packages or endorsed units available.

Usage

The following Victorian Crown Copyright accredited courses are owned by the department and available to download for free.

Section A of the documentation includes information on permissions for use. Section B provides course information, including content and course rules.

Registered training organisations will need to apply to their VET regulator (ASQA, the VRQA or WATAC) to request addition of any of these courses to their scope of registration.

Purpose

The Skills First Literacy and Numeracy Guide is intended to provide information to training providers and teachers/trainers and assessors to assist the implementation of literacy and numeracy support in Victoria.

Version 6 of the guide includes new content on team teaching and pre-training review.
