Premier of Victoria
DPC supports the Premier and Cabinet on policy matters and delivers programs to help achieve the government's objectives. You can visit the Premier's website to read the latest news and updates.

Victoria's Treaty
For the first time in Australia's history, a Treaty has been signed with First Peoples. Treaty is an opportunity to come to grips with the history all Victorian share.

First Peoples - State Relations
First Peoples – State Relations is a branch within DPC responsible for work in the areas of cultural rights, self-determination, Treaty and Truth.

Office of the Chief Parliamentary Counsel
The Office of the Chief Parliamentary Counsel turns policy into legislation, advises the government on its legislative program and drafts legislation for the government and the Parliament of Victoria.

The Office of the Governor
The Office of the Governor was established under the Public Administration Act 2004 (Vic) as an Administrative Office within the DPC. The Office supports the Governor to carry out official duties.

Victorian Aboriginal Heritage Council
The Victorian Aboriginal Heritage Council is an independent statutory body created under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006. The Council is composed entirely of Traditional Owners and has a number of key functions under the Act

Victorian Multicultural Commission
The Victorian Multicultural Commission (VMC) strengthens cultural diversity in Victoria through consultation advocacy, celebration and promotion. The VMC is a statutory body established in 1983 and legislated under the Multicultural Victoria Act 2011.

Victorian Electoral Commission
The Victorian Electoral Commission (VEC) is an independent and impartial body established under the Electoral Act 2022. The VEC regulates and conducts elections, and maintains the electoral roll.

Victorian Public Sector Commission
The Victorian Public Sector Commission (VPSC) was established in 2014 and provides advice and support on issues relevant to public administration, governance, service delivery and workforce matters.
